Real wood frame, so the texture reads as material rather than printed finish
Available with or without a switch line, so it suits a bedside or a wired circuit
Square profile, so it sits flat and modern instead of protruding like a fixture
Table lamp variants available, so you can match a wall light and a desk light

Texture on the wall, not just light.

Flat white walls are the reason rooms feel unfinished. A solid wood sconce does two jobs at once: it lights the space and it puts material on the wall.

The frame is a clean square in real wood, mounted close so it does not stick out into a walkway. Choose the version with a switch line if you want to operate it from the bed, or without if it is going onto a wired circuit.

Also available as a matching table lamp in wood or walnut.

Renting?

The switch line version plugs into a normal socket, no electrician needed. Read Battery vs Hardwired Wall Lights: What You Can Fit in a NZ Rental for mounting heights and what your tenancy agreement typically allows.

Frequently asked questions

Is every option a wall sconce?

No. The listing includes wall-sconce variants as well as matching beech and walnut table-lamp variants, so check the Style option before ordering.

What is the difference between the wall-sconce options?

The cord-switch version is intended to plug into a normal socket, while the no-switch version is for a wired setup. Use a qualified electrician for mains wiring.

Can I angle the light?

This model is a compact square wood light rather than the separate 360-degree adjustable wall lamp, so choose it for the close-to-wall wood look rather than directional adjustment.
